Outdoor sports and swimming
Park Atlantis has 4 tennis courts, football, Volleyball and basketball courts.
Also, two petanque fields and minigolf.
You can go for a swim in the nearby swimming pool (sportcomplex
Sparrenboslaan 27).
Cycling, Golf, Fishing and Horseback riding
Bicycles and go-carts are for rent at 50 m distance, just outside the park.
The well-known De Haan golf course lies within walking distance, as well as a
fishing pond and a riding school.
The protected dunes have special riding tracks.
Hiking
As you walk through the park itself, you'll notice some lovely spots as well.
There are special hiking paths in the protected dunes. You'll find a local information
office near the bridge leading to the beach.
Indoors sport
De Haan is particularly rich for all kinds of indoor sport
activities. We suggest you visit:
- Sport en recreatiecentrum Haneveld
- Sportcomplex Pier 10
- Wielingencentrum
For the very young
The sea is at walking distance and is very suitable for
young children, given the gradual sloping beach. The quality of the sand invites
to build wonderful sand castles.
There is a renewed play garden in De Haan center.
Cafeteria
There are also three restaurants just outside the park and you'll find plenty
of shops nearby.
Each apartment also contains all you may need to prepare your own meals.
Special Events
Specials events are organized regularly during holiday season.
De Haan publishes an event calendar each year, which is available from the information
booth (near the bridge along the road to the beach). |
